The countywide Park Restroom survey aims to understand patterns and barriers to restroom access in parks. Your input will guide decisions on prioritizing restroom locations, features, and operations.

Community Engagement Report
In February 2026, we launched a countywide survey to hear directly from you – our park users – about what matters most when it comes to restroom access in parks. The survey closed in April with over 1,700 responses from residents across nearly 90 percent of Montgomery County zip codes. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your thoughts! Your feedback will help us prioritize restroom improvements in the future.
Right now, Parks staff are reviewing all the survey responses and combining them with the data we’ve collected. We are using this information to create a report that will share key findings and ideas for improvement.
