Following a community meeting held in April 2025 and the feedback received on the survey, two alternative playground concepts have been developed. In each design, a mix of playground equipment has been included for ages 2-5 and 5-12 that provide a diverse range of play opportunities for swinging, spinning, slides, climbing, balancing, and challenging play. Three alternative group swing options are shown. Belt Swings for children ages 5-12, Bucket Swings for children ages 2-5, and an Accessible Swing will also be provided. The proposed nature play area includes a boulder walk between clusters of new trees. Picnic tables are placed beneath the shade of existing mature trees for seating and gathering.
